The Manchester United hierarchy is showing no urgency

The Manchester United hierarchy is showing no urgency in taking a decision on Louis Van Gaal and has kept the Dutchman in charge of the team for the upcoming Derby County match.

However, Van Gaal has been given no job security either and it would all depend on how the team plays from here on in.

It is believed that the Manchester United board would analyze the position of the manager at the end of each game and would act accordingly.

Mata has been getting chances far and few between. He made his latest chance count the most after scoring a double in the 2-1 victory over Liverpool. Louis Van Gaal confident of Improvement of Team

Louis Van Gaal felt that his team played much better than the 0-0 score with Cambridge United suggested. Manchester United were taking on a team much lower in the league rankings than them, which had placed them as huge favourites to secure a victory.

However, United did not create much clear-cut opportunities during the 90 minutes and could only draw against a team that was playing in non-league football not too long ago. Cambridge will be playing at Old Trafford for the replay and this will bring huge revenues to the club.
